When working on a fresh project, the Group Settings are hidden until at least one group is made active. True, but I would prefer it wasn't there at all. It is strange that it isn't there until you use a group, and then it appears and you can't hide it again. Since I never use that window at all it is just clutter. I love the new pane in the Inspector. For my workflow it's actually god send. You can hide and reveal groups at any time. When you pop out the groups into the old familiar popout window, the one in the inspector goes away, but it comes back when you close the window.
